The Product Creation Lab course is certainly keeping me busy and starting to stress me a little.  We have designed our ecovers for our products and have chosen the first product that we will work on and done a little bit of research into just how we will set the product out.

So we really are up to the hard bit now I think, the bit where you really have to think about what the product is going to contain and how it will be set out and we will soon have to start writing the product - this is the scary bit.  As much as I’m looking forward to todays task, I’m a bit scared to get it as this really is the part that I struggle with.  I’m sure once I get going on it I will be fine, it is just the thought of putting it all together - it is so much easier when it is floating around in my head than when I need to put it all down on paper and make sense out of it all.

Kevin really is fantastic though and the whole course so far has gone along at a steady rate.  There have been days where I’ve wished he would give us more so we can get stuck into it a bit quicker, however, I’m really glad that he hasn’t as the way he has it set out and the daily tasks he gives us really is good timing for the long term success of our products. It is giving us the time to get our head around each individual task and doing it properly rather than just rush into creating the product.

I think we are about half way through the course now and so it shouldn’t be too much longer before I have my first product launched - and I am really looking forward to that!

My website business is still going really well and now I’ve decided to have a go at some review sites.

My first review site that I’ve just created you can view at www.businessopsreviewed.com which I am extremely happy with how it turned out.  I am going to promote this one for a little while before putting it up for sale I think and see how it does.  Although, I think really I am just a bit attached to this one and not quite ready to let it go just yet :) 

I am now working on a second review site at www.wieghtlossreview.net which I’m hoping to have finished and up for sale today.  These sites do take a little longer to create than the other sites that I usually create, however I’m hoping for a bigger selling price on these ones too.

I absolutely love the themes that I have used on these sites - although they did come at a cost, but well and truly worth it, especially when just one sale will cover the cost and then I can keep using the themes over and over again.  These themes are designed by Revolution Two and they have a membership cost for their site - with which you have access to all of their themes.  They have some amazing themes, these are the best I have come across.  So if you are looking for some great themes, these really are worth the price of their membership.

Before I give an update on the Product Creation Course I just had to show this:

This was created - much to my surprise - by my forum admin person.  He is so cool, I had no idea he was even doing this. Isn’t it fantastic.  Guess who I’m going to be using for my graphics from now on!!!

Ok, today is day 8 on the Product Creation Course.  This has been such an eye opener, the amount of research that Kevin has us doing to find not only the niche to work in but also all the extra details about the niche.  I usually have enough trouble just choosing a niche, but Kevin shows you exactly how to do the research to find out which niche’s will be profitable and how to get the fullest out of them.

I really am enjoying this course, even though I’ve had a few stressful moments, but I am a little impatient and just can’t wait for the next days tasks.  I really want to get stuck into it and start my website and products, although I know that doing it this way is best in the long term.

I have successfully chosen my niche now and have a huge list of ideas to implement within my niche, so now I’m getting quite excited.

Well the first 2 days I thought were great because they didn’t really take that long, even though I did find it hard to assess myself. However, day 3 and day 4 have proven to be real mind working days.

Day 3 started off quite slow for me, this is the ideas day, and as I’m not a very creative person I find it really hard to come up with ideas. Our aim for today was to get ourselves 100 ideas - I wont go into where or how we were told to research these ideas as I can’t give away too much of the ins and outs of the program. When I first watched the video for the day I thought it sounded like it would be quite easy, but then when I started doing the research I found it wasn’t as easy as it sounded.

I got off to a really slow start and it took me forever just to get my first 16 ideas, I didn’t think I’d ever get 100. Then I took a big break and came back and started again, I slowly made my way up to 46 ideas and then it got easier. Kevin did say that we had to ‘exercise our brains’ and that when we do they will start working and start ticking over the ideas, and I must say that he was right. Once I got going with it, it did get easier and the last 50 or so ideas came to me quite easily.

Day 4 - once again sounded quite easy and in actual fact was a bit easier than coming up with the ideas yesterday. However, it is a big task and has taken me quite some time to complete. Today is research, research, research and writing it all down. I’m sure over the next few days it will all tie together and start making sense what we are going to do with all this information we are gathering.

It is certainly taking a different approach to any product creation that I have done previously so it will be very interesting to see te final results. I really love this membership and daily task method too, its great seeing how everyone else is going as we all go in and post how we have done for the day.

Well, I haven’t quite finished my task for today, so I better get back to work.

You know I’m doing very well creating websites and selling them but I have decided anyway to join a course that is being run on the Warrior forum by Kevin Riley called ‘Product Creation Lab’. Thankfully I just got signed up at the last minute before they closed the doors on this one.

This course is a series of videos, with which we receive a new one each day. So far I have done the first 2 days and am sitting here anxiously awaiting the 3rd days video to be listed. The idea of a course like this really appealled to me because of the fact that we are given new information each day, giving us enough information to absorb and work with but not too much to confuse us and wonder where to start.

Everyone will be going along at the same pace and as long as I still to the tasks each day then this shouldn’t fail. I’m guessing I will probably know a lot of what will be taught but I know there are areas that I still need a lot of help with so I am very sure I will get a lot out of this course. In fact our second task was to just assess ourselves and write down our strengths and talents, you know that’s not that easy when you actually do it, especially for someone like me who is not creative at all. I learn quickly which is great and once I know how to do things I’m good at them, but coming up with ideas for what to do on my own, I am absolutely hopeless. So as long as someone tells me what to do, then I’m good. So coming up with natural talents wasn’t that easy when things don’t tend to come naturally to me.

Anyway, I just wanted to write about this course and thought I’d keep an update going of how I go throughout the course and hopefully will be able to come in and post about the great results I get at the end of it.

I can finally show a paypal statement that shows a good income.  I have never been a fan of people that show paypal screenshots as you never know if they are real or not, so I have never used them - mainly because I haven’t had a high enough income to show and I would not use a screenshot until I could honestly show a good income.

Ok, now I’m bragging a bit, but hey, I have worked online for 3 years now and it has taken me a while to get to this, so I’m happy and I’m bragging.  And if I can do it, anyone can do it.  Trust me, I have no university degree, there is nothing that sets me apart from the average person out there.  In fact, I’m a very shy, reserved person that has never gone out there and strived for what I want - until now of course

There are many sites online where you can sell sites that you create, or buy and resell, but I sell all of mine on Ebay.  I know Ebay are a real pain in the butt sometimes, but that’s all part of the job. The fact is that I’m earning a good income, so having to put up with Ebay is worth it.

For anyone out there that has been trying to earn an income online and just hasn’t had much luck - then don’t give up.  I didn’t and look at me now. You can do it, just believe in yourself and choose what direction to take and go for it.
