I was extremely happy this morning when I turned on my laptop to find that I had sold my first website that I put up for auction. I definately didn’t expect it to be sold so quickly as it still had almost 6 days left on the auction, but the buyer purchased it with the ‘buy it now’ option, so I got the full price that I was asking.

It was a reasonably new site and it sold for $500 which I was extremely happy about. Now I am very motivated to get craking with more sites and start making more sales. It wasn’t a hard site to set up and the most time consuming part was probably that I wrote over 30 articles and submitted them all to article directories. It paid off though so I’m happy.

I have 2 other websites that I’ve started working on and I am quite keen to get on with them now. Website flipping is something that I have considered quite a few times but never really did anything about it until my friend Rachel convinced me to give it a go.

Having just created this website at http://www.workfromhome-internetbusiness.com within a matter of hours, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to create using Wordpress.  I have many websites and I have created them all using Dreamweaver but having now created one using Wordpress I think that is my choice in future.

In fact it was so easy that I am now considering the business of website flipping.  I’m not going to jump into it just yet as I told myself I wouldn’t take on anything new, but this really could be a good business to get into.  If you can create a website in a few hours and then sell it, how hard could that be right?

Well, the other reason I’m not going to jump into it too quickly is that I don’t really know the answer to that.  Perhaps it seems too good to be true.  So I think I’ll do some research on site flipping before jumping in head first.

I also need to research the whole reseller hosting business as it would probably pay to manage a reseller account and have the websites that I sell hosting on my own account.  That way I could offer the buyer of the site the first 2 or 3 months hosting free, or some deal like that.

Anyway, that is what is on my mind today - website flipping.

Although I am recommending a product on the site which is my own product that is work in progress, so although there are links on the site to it, it isn’t officially available yet.  So that will need to be my next project, getting my affiliate explosion product up and running.

Today is my youngest sons birthday and he is six today, so I wont get much done online today.  But that’s ok, it’s good to get a break too.
